Rhode Island Wild plant Society CULTIVATION NOTES
This collection of Cultivation Notes began accumulating with the very first edition of the RIWPS Newsletter published ten years ago. The authors of the Cultivation Notes deserve our warmest thanks for giving so generously of their time and expertise to help make better gardeners of all of us.

Rhode Island Wild plant Society INVASIVE ALERTS
To learn more about invasives in Rhode Island, please visit the
Rhode Island Invasive Species Council. The RI Invasive Species Council gathers information on the presence, distribution, ecological and economic impacts, and management of invasive species; promote uses of native species and non-invasive alternatives throughout Rhode Island; and work cooperatively with researchers, conservation organizations, government agencies, the green industries, and the general public to identify and manage invasive species pro-actively and effectively.

We regularly distribute these Invasive Alerts to the public:

A non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the preservation
and protection of Rhode Island's native plants and their habitats.
